Artwork Requirements:
Artwork must be digitally submitted in PC-formatted.
The quality of your submitted artwork will determine the quality
of our imprint. We can not imprint halftones, screens or shadows.
We require sharp, black and white camera ready, and/or color
separated artwork. The Art Department is not responsible for
poor quality or unreadable artwork. Artwork delays will delay
production and delivery. A hard
copy of the emailed artwork must be faxed or mailed with the
purchase order.
E-mail Art:
Artwork can be accepted via e-mail
to art@expressimprints.com
with the PO number in the subject line. Please include Customer
name, phone number and contact information in the body of
the email. In addition, indicate on the PO that the artwork
has been sent via e-mail.
Acceptable Artwork Programs:
- Photoshop EPS or
TIF (Resolution 600 dpi or higher)
Acceptable Digital Files:
We prefer vector-based art
files. Images should be at least 300 dpi resolution at 200%
of the final imprint. Resolution for digital photos must be
200 - 400 dpi. Digital artwork consisting of more than one
color must be sent as vector art, no exceptions. All text
must be outlined or converted to curves and placed images
must be linked when saved.
Multiple Color Imprints: We must receive
black and white color separated artwork AND a composite of
the imprint.
Unacceptable Files:
The Art Department will not accept letterhead, business cards,
faxed copies, images printed on ink jet printers or images
from web sites as artwork submissions.
Art Charges:
If appropriate
art is not available, our Art Department is equipped to perform
modifications or art services at a rate of $45.00 per hour.
